Daddy still isn't feeling well, so Mommy and Abby had a girls' night out. After a trip to the playground and the library, we had an extra special treat: dinner at Wendy's! In addition to chicken nuggets and french fries, Abby decided that she wanted to eat some of the croutons from my salad. Silly girl!

Do you see that? That, folks, is my first gray hair. YIKES! (The flash makes it look like there is more than one, but trust me, there is only one. Believe me, I checked. And double checked.)

I pulled it out and showed it to Carey. Abby was standing next to me, so I showed it to her and asked, "Abigail, did you do this to mommy?" With a big smile on her face, she nodded and gave me an emphatic "Yes!" It's a good thing she's cute, that little booger... :-)

I'll take the Discover card, daddy!

(One of Abby's favorite past times - going through daddy's wallet and taking out everything. She seems to like his credit cards most of all, though. Every time we have to go shopping, I ask Abby if we can go spend all of daddy's money. Now, she picks up his wallet and says "Money?" Carey better watch out - Abby will be asking for the car keys next!)

After cleaning the bedroom, I realized that the one thing that didn't change was the fact that Carey and I both have a stack of books on our bedside tables. I guess it's true for potato chips AND books: you can't have just one!

This week was the first week of "water play" at daycare. Abby already has sunscreen at Tutor Time (gotta protect that beautiful baby skin!), so we sent in a swim suit, water shoes, and water diaper. So cute!

Look who has a new friend! :-)

Okay, technically, Eeyore was sent to mommy and daddy, with the hope that he "would put a smile" on our faces. But, Grandpa Al and Grandma Dee are very smart and knew that a smile on Abby's face would put a smile on our faces. In this picture, Abby was pointing to all the flowers in Eeyore's basket: "fla-was, mommy, fla-was!"
