Fresh strawberries from the CSA. Not to sound like a strawberry snob, but strawberries from our local organic farm taste so much better than strawberries that travel to our grocery stores from out-of-state. These beauties were destined for a batch of Strawberry Muffins, which were delish! (Thanks to Sarah Mae at Like a Warm Cup of Coffee for posting the delicious recipe, which she got from Laura at 10 Million Miles!)

Daddy still isn't feeling well, so Mommy and Abby had a girls' night out. After a trip to the playground and the library, we had an extra special treat: dinner at Wendy's! In addition to chicken nuggets and french fries, Abby decided that she wanted to eat some of the croutons from my salad. Silly girl!

Do you see that? That, folks, is my first gray hair. YIKES! (The flash makes it look like there is more than one, but trust me, there is only one. Believe me, I checked. And double checked.)

I pulled it out and showed it to Carey. Abby was standing next to me, so I showed it to her and asked, "Abigail, did you do this to mommy?" With a big smile on her face, she nodded and gave me an emphatic "Yes!" It's a good thing she's cute, that little booger... :-)

(One of Abby's favorite past times - going through daddy's wallet and taking out everything. She seems to like his credit cards most of all, though. Every time we have to go shopping, I ask Abby if we can go spend all of daddy's money. Now, she picks up his wallet and says "Money?" Carey better watch out - Abby will be asking for the car keys next!)
